Jonathan Larson was born by jewish people, their names are Allan and Nanette Larson in white plains, New York. He started off his career at an earlier age, he play trumpet, tuba, sung at school in their choir and took piano lessons. The artist that inspire him were Elton John, The Beatles, The Doors, The Who, and Billy Joel. Additional to all his musical background, he was also an actor while he was in high school. Being the lead roles of the plays he were in.

He played in a lot of plays during his college life, he also started a music composition.
